JD Vance clear favorite to win the GOP nomination in 2028: poll

The polling firm JL Partners in May found 46% of registered voters are ready to back Vance as Trump’s successor, compared with just 8% who’d like to see Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis return to the GOP primary contest.
