Putin says ready for ‘direct talks’ with Ukraine but Zelensky says he must agree ceasefire first

Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed holding “direct talks” with Ukraine, a move welcomed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelesnky who also stressed that the Moscow must first agree a ceasefire.
