Lexington firefighters deployed statewide to help with flood response efforts

Since Mayor Linda Gorton’s emergency declaration on Friday, six firefighters were reportedly deployed to Butler to help move seven patients from a nursing home ahead of the city’s mandatory evacuation on Saturday.
