Anker Launches Competitive Portable Battery at IFA 2025
Just one week after EcoFlow unveiled its latest high-speed portable charger, Anker has responded at IFA 2025 with an upgraded offering. The new Anker Prime Power Bank (26k, 300W) features support for up to 250W input and offers a maximum output of 300W, allowing users to charge multiple devices at once, reports 24brussels.
The Anker Prime Power Bank boasts a capacity of 26,250mAh (99.75Wh at 3.8V) and is equipped with two bidirectional USB-C ports, each capable of delivering 140W, alongside a 22.5W USB-A port. This configuration facilitates simultaneous charging of two demanding laptops and a smartphone. However, it lacks the “find device” feature available in previous models.
When it comes to recharging, the power bank can accept input rates of up to 250W when connected to dual 140W USB-C PD 3.1 chargers, allowing it to reach 80% charge in just 35 minutes. Additionally, it can be charged at 150W through a pogo-pin connector located at its base when placed on Anker’s Prime Charging Base, which is sold separately and will also charge three other devices simultaneously at a capped output of 150W.
The Anker Prime Bank features a display indicating the status of each port, which can also be monitored through the Anker companion app. The dimensions are 159.9 x 38 x 62.7mm, and it is slated for release on September 25, with pricing yet to be confirmed.
Accompanying the Prime Power Bank is Anker’s 14-in-1 Prime Docking Station, retailing at $299.99 / €349.99 / £299.99. It integrates multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, audio connections, and SD/TF slots. All USB-C ports support fast charging and a data transfer rate of up to 10Gbps. This docking station supports a triple monitor setup and will be available from September 5.
Additionally, Anker has introduced its new Prime Charger, reported to be 43% smaller than Apple’s 140W charger. It features three 140W output USB-C ports, but a combined total output of 210W when charging multiple devices. The charger also has a foldable plug and displays detailed power specifications that can be monitored via Bluetooth through Anker’s app. This device will be priced at $149 / €129, also available on September 25.
Lastly, Anker revealed its 3-in-1 Prime Wireless Charging Station, designed with active cooling technology to maintain charging surfaces below 36 degrees Celsius, ensuring prolonged battery health. The charging station can simultaneously power a Qi2 25W phone, an Apple Watch (5W), and AirPods (5W). Despite its cooling features, it produces noise during operation, although it promises a quiet experience at 29dB. Pricing details remain to be announced, but availability is expected by September 25.
