Man Who Shot Ralph Yarl After Black Teenager Mistakenly Rang Doorbell Dies While Awaiting Sentencing

Andrew Lester has died while awaiting his sentencing, Clay County prosecutor Zachary Thompson announced on Wednesday, Feb. 19. Lester, 86, was scheduled to be sentenced on March 7, according to the prosecutor’s office.
