BLF captures police officers in Dhadar, BRG blows up major gas pipeline between Sui, Kashmore
Balochistan [Pakistan] October 16, 2025: The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has reported the capture of police officers in Dhadar, while the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) took responsibility for a significant explosion damaging a gas pipeline between Sui and Kashmore, reports 24brussels.
A statement from BLF spokesman Major Gwahram Baloch revealed that fighters confronted a police patrol in the Allah Yar Shah region of Dhadar around 17:00. The BLF claimed to have encircled the patrol, capturing several officers and confiscating their firearms, subsequently setting fire to the vehicle used by the police.
Gwahram Baloch further stated that initial questioning of the detained officers indicated they had not participated in actions against the Baloch population or the national movement, leading to their release without harm. The BLF officially claimed the operation as part of their ongoing activities.
In a related incident, BRG spokesman Dostain Baloch announced that the group planted explosives on a 36-inch diameter gas pipeline originating from Dera Bugti’s Sui field to Karachi, resulting in significant damage. The BRG characterized this action as part of a broader campaign that will continue until their political objectives are met.
There has been no immediate response from police or federal authorities regarding these incidents. Local officials and security personnel are expected to conduct investigations into both occurrences. The pipeline damage raises concerns over potential impacts on regional gas supply and the integrity of local infrastructure.
These events highlight the ongoing tensions and militant activities in various regions of Balochistan. As of now, independent verification of these claims has not been possible from government representatives.
