The state doesn’t expect “significant cuts” to “core education programs” this year or next, a Vermont Agency of Education official told them.

Senate Minority Leader Schumer, D-N.Y. announced that he will vote to keep the government open and warned that a shutdown has worse consequences for Americans.

Schumer relented one day after saying Senate Democrats would block the “partisan” measure, saying the “chaos” of a government shutdown would be a worse option.
