After two full weeks in the hospital, Pope Francis continues his recovery for double pneumonia. Friday morning, the 88-year-old pontiff continued working. He even left his room to pray at a nearby private chapel. The Vatican has made it clear that Francis has a long road ahead. People around the world continue to pray for the pope’s recovery, including at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington where church leaders focused on the holy year’s theme of “hope”.
