President Joe Biden announced his decision to pardon his son Hunter Biden on Dec. 1. Hunter faced up to a collective 42 years in prison for his illegal gun possession and tax charge charges. The president called the cases political, writing in a statement: ‘No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son.’
