Only a mutually acceptable peace deal can serve as a basis for stability in the region, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said at a press conference alongside Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.
“Georgia remains committed to the sincere desire to see sustainable peace in the region, and we are willing to do our best to achieve the goal,” she said.
“We are ready to do our best to ensure that our region is stable, peaceful and prospering,” the Foreign Minister said.
Maka Botchorishvili voiced hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will reach a peace deal the provisions of which will be mutually acceptable.
“Only this can serve as a basis for stability in this region, establishment of sustainable peace. And we must rely on this foundation to use the potential of our region. We are ready to cooperate with our neighbors,” she emphasized.
