Explosion kills Russian general sanctioned for chemical weapons use in Ukraine

Russian officials said an explosive device killed Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov in Moscow a day after he was sentenced in absentia by a Ukrainian court over the use of banned chemical weapons.
