President Joe Biden will make a stop in the Coachella Valley Tuesday to sign a proclamation designating Chuckwalla lands a federally protected national monument. The Chuckwalla National Monument would encompass approximately 644,000 acres on Joshua Tree’s southern border, stretching to the Colorado River in southern California. By designating the new monument, Biden would create the
